What is No Win No Fee?

You may have heard the phrase No Win No Fee frequently on TV adverts, in newspapers and magazines and even on the radio but you may be unsure what exactly this means.  The advert usually just says why not claim today for an accident that wasn’t your fault using No Win No Fee solicitors.

The definition of the phrase No Win No Fee is that if your compensation claim is taken on by a solicitor on a No Win No Fee basis they have a very good feeling that your case will be successful and is in the last three years.

Cases over three years ago now have very little chance of claiming compensation so that’s why most compensation solicitor’s will only take on cases that are less than three years ago.  Not only will this be a deciding factor whether to take on the case as well as if the solicitor feels that the case has a good chance of winning.

If a solicitor takes on a compensation claim case and it is unsuccessful they will not receive any fees from you if the case is based on a No Win No Fee basis.  The only way they can recover some of the costs of the case is that of using their ‘after the event’ insurance many No Win No Fee solicitors have.

If your case is successful you will still not have to pay any fees to your solicitor, you will receive the full compensation amount agreed.  Your solicitor will cover their costs and fees from the losing parties insurance.  The only costs you may have to pay are that of gathering doctor’s notes and any information your doctor can give you as evidence of the injuries you have received following the accident you’re claiming against.

A No Win No Fee basis compensation claim enables anyone who has been injured from an accident that wasn’t there fault to claim compensation.  You don’t need any money to back your claim and your solicitor will do all they can to get the compensation you deserve not only for the suffering you’ve suffered but also any medical bills and costs you may have had to pay as well as loss of earnings if you’ve been unable to work due to the injuries you received.
